friday favorites: welcome to july

Welcome to July, Friends!

Is anyone else struggling to accept the fact that we are more than half way through 2020? I mean, it occurred to me that I've worked from home more this year than I've been in the office. That seems so surreal.

Funny story - I took my Middle Little Farmer for his annual check up yesterday, and it had been so long since he'd been to town that he honestly couldn't remember where the doctor's office was or recognize the route we take to get there. Crazy.

Anyways, Friday has arrived and I'm linking up with Erika to share a few favorites from the week.

Found these rubber boots on Amazon, and my Littlest Farmer loves them. I'm hoping the eyes can help him recognize when he has them on the wrong feet.

Spent a couple of days at my mom's again. The boys love the change in scenery, and I feel like I have a little less to juggle since there is an extra set of hands and eyes. Not to mention, she does all the cooking! She spoils us for sure. I did manage to get in another farm run, and it is seriously the best view ever.

Introduced the boys to a childhood classic - The Big Green - and they absolutely loved it. It'd been so long since we'd seen it, my mom and I even laughed through the whole thing.

Our new dryer finally arrived. I've been using sunshine and a clothes line for the last three weeks to dry our clothes. I really didn't mind for most things and may even still use it for some things, but I am very ready to have soft, fluffy towels again. By the way, I'm pretty sure the delivery folks were a little taken aback by the level of enthusiasm I displayed upon their arrival.

In case you missed it, we played a little game of twenty questions earlier this week. It's still not to late to join in on the fun and link up with us. Posts like these are a breeze to write and even more fun to read.

What's on deck for your 4th of July weekend? Ours will be fairly hectic as we prep for and host our annual family reunion. We're excited though - it should be a great time. Make sure to follow along on Instagram.

Happy Independence Day to you and yours!

  1. We were without a washing machine for a week and I had to hold myself back from kissing the delivery man! LOL. It's amazing how exciting new appliances can be.
