Happy Friday, Friends!
I have been uber productive this week around the house. I imagine it has something to do with the fact that my Littlest Farmer is only getting up once at night. It feels awesome to not be walking around in zombie mode every day.
Now, let's chat a little bit about my favorites from the week and move on to the weekend!
2018 Planner... I am swooning over my new Erin Condren planner and the goodies I ordered with it. Who doesn't love planners and stickers? Since I'm trying out the new hardbound version, I picked up a magnetic bookmark too. Hurry up 2018, so I can use this planner every day!
First real outing... I had a follow-up doctor's appointment this week and afterward made a trip to the office to introduce my Little Farmer to my work family. This was a big deal because I did everything that morning - showered, got ready, dressed in decent clothes, put one kid on the bus, took the other to daycare, and then headed to town. And I was only ten minutes late to my appointment! We then visited with my co-workers for a little while at the office before heading back home where we both crashed.
I've been shopping... I picked up this new LulaRoe outfit this week. I am really taking to wearing leggings. They're not something I wore much before becoming pregnant and since I'm not going into the office every day yet, these are perfect. I also spotted these really pretty jeans on the Gap. I had some rewards $ to help knock down the price a bit. If they fit as wonderfully as I anticipate, they'll be worth it.
Clothing exchange... One good thing about having all boys is that when the smaller two need bigger clothes, there's no need to rush off to the store. I can just go to our storage area and grab the next size. I had to do that this week for both my Middle Farmer and my Little Farmer. My Little Farmer has already graduated to 3-6 month clothing. Yikes!
Play room purge... Anyone else have a designated play room in your home? Do you feel utter disgust when you can't see the floor and your kids won't play in it anymore because it's that messy? Well, a tornado went through the playroom this week - a tornado called mom. I organized everything, tossed the broken toys, stored away the toys that aren't played with anymore and then threatened their lives to mess it up again. Okay, not really. I did, however, tell them that every night, the room must be picked up and anything left out will be boxed up and taken to a local charity. So far, everything has remained organized and straight.
There's a giveaway going on... Earlier in the week I shared how I'm celebrating my 100th post - by giving away one of my favorite things. Make sure to head over to that post to enter to win.
Well friends, I think that about sums up my week. We're celebrating my sister-in-law's upcoming nuptials this weekend with a bridal shower and I'm looking so forward to the time with family and friends. Hope your weekends are wonderful!

You really have had a productive week! Happy Friday!!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more satisfying to me than sorting through my kid's toys and purging them! I have to do that again before Christmas - I cannot wait!
ReplyDeleteI love a productive week! I LOVE that hardback planner. I am getting the 2018 planner itch over here. Hahahaha! I know if I start looking I am going to start buying :) I love your outfit. Woohoo for Gap Cash. So glad your littlest farmer is sleeping so well!
ReplyDeleteProductive weeks are so refreshing! I love that you call him your littlest farmer! I bet he's just the sweetest. Your clothes bins look like my house. We are always digging into them for little nugget. I hope you have a great weekend! Sierra ~ Beautifully Candid
ReplyDeleteHooray on baby almost sleeping throughout the night! And it sounds like you had a pretty productive week! I don't know why, but cleaning and purging is just so satisfying! And if you like shopping at Gap I can get you a friends & family coupon (40% off everything online) if you are interested. My brother works at Gap so I always know about all their deals! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI turned my kids' play room into a dining room! How about that for a purge? I wonder if my super cash from Old Navy has expired...going to check! xo
ReplyDeleteYay for you and your productivity!!! I can't believe the baby is already graduating to the next size...sniff, sniff. I always hated moving them up. Have a great weekend!!! xo
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are getting it all done! We don't have a playroom, but I'm thinking about making one. Those toys don't need to be all over the house!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it out of the zombie-ness of post-birth and kudos for making things happen this week! Girl! Love me some leggings! They are my fall and winter wardrobe necessity!! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI did the same hing with the boys clothes, it was so nice. You looked so cute in that outfit for your outing! Yay to getting er done! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteYay productivity and yay only one wake up a night!! I can’t wait for that!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know Erin Condren had a hardbound planner. I'm so interested to see how well you like it. I'm still up in the air on what planner I am going to buy for next year!
ReplyDeleteI LIVE for the playroom purge! Why can't we just survive on a handful of toys and the constant ability to see the floor?!
ReplyDeleteI've been using a Happy Planner and actually have two - one for regular house/family stuff and one for the blog. I've never used an Erin condren one.....but did just enter your giveaway. We don't have a playroom. Just an all-purpose living room/tv room. I hate when the kids leave their stuff all over. Luckily, it doesn't get too bad because I'm always on them to move their stuff! Still have not tried LulaRoe either. I'm more of a jeans wearer than a legging wearer, but have only heard good things. Hope you had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have been so productive! I'm seriously impressed. Love those leggings. I wore leggings a lot during Sylvie's first year. You can't beat comfy and cute! Hope you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have thought about keeping my girls clothes just in case. That way I would be like you. You look great in your outfit you wore for your first outting. Very productive time last week!
