Say hello to the last full week of October! Can you believe it? While making our grocery run this past week, I was taken a little off guard by the fact that Christmas had already arrived at Walmart. I then realized it is only two months away. Yikes!
Well, I know I've been a little hit or miss in the blogosphere lately - I blame it on sleep deprivation and adjusting to being a mother of three. Is that fair? Will you forgive me? The good news is that I am feeling a little more in control and human every day. Cha-ching!
In light of my sporadic absence, I want to share some of the things I have been loving on lately. I have good intentions of sharing these each week during Friday Favorites and then chaos ensues or sleep wins out and I neglect to get a post up. So, in honor of all those posts that didn't happen, here's what I'm currently loving.
Diaper Bag... I found this tote on Amazon a few months back when I was on the hunt for a new handbag. I decided it'd make a better diaper bag after reading the reviews. So far, it has proved to be wonderful for toting all things baby and the mommy essentials. Plus, it's just pretty.
Sleep... Our littlest Farmer is now six weeks old and for three nights in a row, has gone with one less feed during the night. It's funny how you feel on top of the world by just getting a consecutive 4 to 6 hours of sleep.
Popsocket... I finally caved and picked up my very own Popsocket a few weeks back. I first heard of them last Christmas when our cousin who is in college was sporting one on her phone. Ten months later and I have a pretty gold one that I grabbed off Amazon. I have the iPhone Plus and this makes holding my ginormous phone (that I love) tons easier.
Devotional... I stalled out on keeping up with my last Bible reading schedule. So, I went on the hunt for something new and different in the YouVersion App. I found The Balanced Bible Reading Plan and am loving it so far. Each day has a variety of chapters to read from as opposed to just one or two really long ones. I find that the variety keeps my attention more easily.
Fall... We are finally experiencing some cooler temps here in Kentucky. I love the crisp air of the mornings and the comfortable 70s of the afternoon. The sunshine and colorful leaves on the trees are just beautiful. Pumpkins, mums, and bonfires oh my! I mean, we won't let a few free range calves eating our decor get us down either... rascals.
Stitch Fix... One of my sweet friends sent me a gift card after welcoming our littlest farmer into the world. I can't wait to use this! I haven't had a "fix" since before finding out I was pregnant, so I'm very ready to spice up my wardrobe postpartum. If you'd like to check Stitch Fix out, be a doll and use my referral link!
EC LifePlanner... I chose my planner for 2018 and personalized it with my name and the year. I am excited to try the new hardbound version. As much as I love the original, I'm thinking this one might be nice to cart back and forth to work. Of course, I had to add on a few accessories too. I'll be sure to share them with you once they arrive. New to Erin Condren? You should totally hop over to their site and get acquainted. If you use my referral link, you'll receive $10 off your first purchase.
100 Posts... Friends, a little over two years after launching this blog, I have finally reached 100 posts! I sincerely want to say thank you to each of you for reading this little corner of the web, encouraging me and educating me along the way. I very much appreciate this community and enjoy being a part of such a wonderful support system.
And to say thank you... I thought it would be fun to have a giveaway! Since I'm in the planning mood, I thought you may be too. Up for grabs is the 2018 Hardbound LifePlanner in black. Be sure to enter below. The giveaway will be open until the end of October. Yay! (By the way, this giveaway is wholly sponsored by me.)

ReplyDeleteI've been planning for almost three years now. I've learned to just enjoy my planner and planner accessories...and just do what makes me happy. I use my supplies (not just hoard them), I write wherever and whatever I want on my pages. All of my spreads are crazy busy and I love it. XOXO :)

ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS! 100 posts. That's an awesome milestone. I'm going to get a popsocket, but I'm waiting until I get a new phone in 2 months. I think I'm going to get a plus too. Old eyes=bigger phone. hahaha. I love my EC planner and how fun to give one away. Fingers crossed. It is absolutely amazing how much better the world seems when you get a good stretch of sleep. Oh, and my planning advice is to use an erasable pen if you can b/c plans change. hah
DeleteI need a planner to keep track of bill payments and my daughter's school functions.
ReplyDeleteI do a little daily so it's not overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteLove those free range, decor chomping cows!! And thanks for the reading plan idea - I am going to check that one out. And, always love a give away:) Thanks much....and glad you are feeling great!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the 100th post! I love that you have cows just roaming around, that is awesome. I'm trying to get a lot better at meal planning because spending too much time in the kitchen after work is a big struggle of mine. Beautifully Candid
ReplyDeleteI always plan first thing in the morning. It's when I am my sharpest and have had some coffee.
ReplyDeleteI've learned that planning is so important, I really need to write down everything so I don't forget something!

Congrats on 100 posts!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I’ve learned using my planner - make sure to use eraseable pens or leave plenty of room for ‘scratch outs’ because plans are always changing!

Oh the life of being a mom! I had to take a big time out from my blog a while back, and now I'm back but only posting twice a week. Keeps me from being overwhelmed! I love those popsockets and I've been meaning to pick one up.

There is no such thing as planning too early.
ReplyDeleteLove.
ReplyDeleteMaking lists and following routines helps me be more organized!
ReplyDeleteGrat Contest!

Plan your priorities first. Urgent matters seem to grap our attention whether their important or not

ReplyDeleteList, list and more lists
ReplyDeleteBreaking down big goals into smaller tasks and also giving myself grace throughout the process.
ReplyDeleteBreak it down into smaller goals.

I like to review what I have planned for the next day during the night prior to make sure I haven't forgotten anything!
ReplyDeleteI've never used an Erin Condren planner but I do love a good paper planner!
ReplyDeleteI like to make lots of lists to remember everything that comes up in our schedule. I can relax so much better if it is written down.
ReplyDeleteI like to make lots of lists. Nothing feels better than crossing things off a to-do list!
ReplyDeleteAlways set everything out and up for the next day. This helps to let you sleep in, and you can make sure that you won't forget anything.
ReplyDeleteI love Erin Condren! Anything to help keep us mommas organized, right?! :)
ReplyDeleteMy planning advice that I've learned works for us is to write everything down on a monthly calendar that everyone can see, and a weekly more detailed calendar, as well as carrying my planner with me. We have too many different things to remember with 4 kids! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I've learned is to write EVERYTHING down! :)
ReplyDeletekdraebellamy@yahoo.com
Do what works best for you.
ReplyDeleteI like to keep things simple and say No to plans that make my life too hectic
ReplyDeleteWrite down your goals and the steps you need to take to get to them! I need a planner to keep up with all my stuff, I just write in a composition book now, but I do log everything.
ReplyDeleteYou have a much better chance of remembering something if you actually write it down!
ReplyDeleteI've learned to always have a pen and paper handy as you never know what you need to write down, when you might need to write it down, or where you might need to write it down! :)
ReplyDeleteI like to make lists in my planner. It helps me to clear my mind so that I am not constantly thinking of everything I need to get done.
ReplyDeleteI learned to always plan ahead and to use a pencil in my planners in case something changes!
ReplyDeleteI would say plan ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteI have learned to plan my errands out evenly across each week so they don't seem overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a planner! Seeing things on a list helps me get more done during the day (especially that stuff that I'm more likely to forgot!). Writing things down so it's in one spot...something my kiddo doesn't want to do with her school work yet...
ReplyDeleteMake a list to plan ahead and try to have a back up plan in place.
ReplyDeleteMaking sure to tackle smaller goals and you know you're making progress. it'll give you inspiration to achieve the rest.
