my love for the dockatot grows

You may recall that a few months ago I shared my love for the Deluxe DockATot. Now, I need to tell you about the Grand Dock.

My Littlest Farmer outgrew his Deluxe Dock around seven months old. I had intended to go without one after that, but life happened. He ended up with a cold on top of transitioning from being swaddled, so we decided it was just too much change at one time and the Grand Dock would be a constant we could control.

The wonderful folks at DockATot graciously sent me a complimentary Grand Dock to try out and review, and for that, I am so thankful. Here are just a few reasons why I recommend the Grand Dock.

My Littlest Farmer loves to snuggle up to the sides. He’s to the age now where I place him in the Dock on his back but he moves around to his comfort. I’ve found him on his side snuggled up next to the edge and even on his tummy. This doesn’t concern me because of the material the Dock is made from. It’s all certified breathable and non-heat harboring.

Let’s go on vacation! Our summer vacay is right around the corner and I’m so excited about the ease of packing up the Dock and knowing my Littlest Farmer will have somewhere safe to sleep. This negates renting a crib or worrying about where he’ll nap and play in our rental.

The Dock is so easy to wash. The first night in his Dock, he peed through his diaper and soaked the Dock. Ugh. But low and behold, it was super easy to take a part. I threw it in the wash according to the care instructions and put it back together by myself. It was completely like new in just a couple of hours.

Like the Deluxe Dock, the Grand comes in many different designs and colors. We have the Pristine White and I’d like to get a backup soon. I’m eyeing the Mr. Mighetto in Night Night. Isn’t it beautiful?!

The Deluxe Dock is for babies 0 to 8 months while the Grand Dock is for 9 to 36 month olds. If you had to choose between one or the other, I would recommend the Deluxe. I do love the Grand but it is quite a bit bigger. If we did not have a king size bed, my Farmer would have to relocate on the nights our Littlest Farmer joins us. I love having it and it’s been a life saver more times than I can count, but the Deluxe was perfect in every way. I’m sure it has a lot to do with the fact that my Littlest Farmer is mobile now whereas he wasn’t before... Eek!

Head over to the DockATot site and read all about the ins and outs of this awesome co-sleeper. Plus, take a look at the beautiful designs and decide which one works best for you and your family. You won’t regret it!

I would love to hear your thoughts. Do you have a Dock? Do you love it? If not, do you want one?
