As usual, I'm joining in with lots of other sweet ladies and sharing my favorites from the week.
1 >> Check out our newest members of the family. My Farmer and our oldest Little Farmer went to a cattle sale earlier in the week and picked up these beauties. My oldest Little Farmer seriously had the time of his life. He even knew the name of the man who sold them to us and a little bit about his cattle operation.
2 >> Speaking of my oldest Little Farmer. He turned seven this week. We made three pans of brownies, iced them, and added sprinkles. He took the majority of them to school and we enjoyed the rest on his actual birthday. The real party is this weekend, and I can't wait.
3 >> Last Saturday, my Farmer and I ended up with an impromptu date night. Our two older Little Farmers stayed the night with their aunt, so we made ourselves get out and enjoy a meal at Chili's. We had our Littlest Farmer with us, but he never even made a peep. Since it's my birthday month, we scarfed down this dessert for free!
4 >> One evening, in between rain storms, we had the most beautiful sunset. I grabbed my camera and trekked through the soaking wet yard to grab this photo.
5 >> I finished The Soldier's Wife. I had really high expectations for this novel, so I'm bummed to report it didn't entirely meet them. The story was good, however I just didn't feel like the first half of the book was necessary. It wasn't until about two thirds of the way through that I felt like I couldn't put it down. Up next... Crazy Rich Asians.
6 >> Have you heard of Influenster? Influenster is a program that you can join in which you try out new products and then review them. You share your thoughts on Influenster, Facebook or Instagram. I've received food, hair products, and hygiene type items so far. I am really excited to receive my next Voxbox - it should be here any day and has a variety of items inside from laundry detergent to perfume. If you'd like to check it out, please use my referral link here. And you don't have to be a blogger to be a part of this awesome community.
Well Friends, that about sums up my week. I will be spending the day prepping for the birthday party on Saturday. We're having a bonfire, roasting hot dogs, eating cake and making smore's. He's so excited, so naturally I am too. Hope you each have wonderful weekends!
