friday download: my week, sweet and short style

Happy Friday, Lovelies! I feel like pinching myself to make sure it is in fact Friday. The week has gone by so much more quickly than I would have expected. Yay, thank you Lord for that!

I really have very little excitement to report, nothing like gallivanting around the Cincinnati area like I did last week. So, theoretically, today's post should be short and sweet.  

On Monday, I mentioned actually winning two gifts at a wedding shower I attended. One of the gifts included Pure Ice Nail Polish. The color is Risk Taker, which is very fitting since me actually wearing this color is risky. I usually don't wear dark polish, but this risk paid off. I love it!

Over the last 3 months, I have lost and kept off 16 pounds and gone down 2 dress sizes. God is so good! I truly could not have maintained the motivation and will power without Him. I have been getting lots of questions on what I am doing, so on Wednesday I shared my 5 ways to lose weight

I've been on a maintain path for the last little bit, but as of this week I am refocused and working towards my last 10 pounds. I even resisted cake at the office! If I was going to splurge, cake wouldn't be my first choice. So, I excused myself from the celebration and promptly devoured a small container of strawberries. 

I have several friends who are raving about Rodan+Fields, posting their before and after pictures, looking all amazing! So, I finally decided to join the club. I am trying out the Unblemish Regimen. Are any of you using Rodan+Fields? If so, do you like it?

As part of my healthier eating, I try to pack my lunch during the week. I alternate between ham sandwiches and frozen Smart Ones. My last trip to Wal-mart was unsuccessful in the Smart Ones department, so I tried a couple of Lean Cuisines. Both of these were delicious! I was also really surprised at how filling they were. Do you have any favorites I should try?
In my spare time this week, I've been reading my way through The List. It was a little slow to start, but I am definitely intrigued now. I will keep you posted as soon as I finish it.

I am really hoping for another relaxing weekend with maybe a date night thrown in there somewhere. We rarely go to the movies, but if we decide to get crazy after dinner, is there anything worth seeing?

    You look great! I will definitely be checking back to get some weight loss tips! I am also a big fan of Smart Ones, but will have to check out the Lean Cuisine as well! We try to keep a stash of frozen meals like that in the freezer so we have no excuse to have a high calorie lunch, even if we run out of fresh food.

  8. I used to eat Lean Cuisines almost everyday when I taught. I used to like a fish & rice combo and the noodle combos. My good friend sales R+F so let me know if you need a contact! Have a great weekend!

  12. Congrats on your weight loss! When I was teaching I would often bring Weight Watchers or Lean Cuisines for lunch. They were quick, easy and kept my calorie intake in check!
